Ringo and Spud came to us as two three month old rescue pups. Little black bundles of mischief. Inevitably they feature in my lifestyle posts and also in my artwork as they are very photogenic, particularly Spud. Spud also had major issues with his leg involving radical surgery where his leg was broken deliberately and a gap created all held in place with a metal rod. He was in a crate on complete cage rest for six weeks so inevitably I wrote about all that.
Having two brothers brought a whole new level of hassle into our lives, it is much easier controlling one dog than it is two that are joined at the hip. When we first got them they would rather listen to each other than us. Gradually they learnt to trust us and now Ringo and Spud are valued members of the family. They get on wonderfully with the cats which is an added bonus.
