Writing – isn’t that what blog posts are about? I try and focus each blog around a particular subject and sometimes that means a fair amount of research has to be done. In my blog I try and get across the history of the subject, some facts about it, perhaps some famous quotes about it. Occasionally I will illustrate my writing with pertinent YouTube videos, mostly they are illustrated with my own artwork.
Posts can be looking at what happened on specific days of the year, either a date or one of the International or National days, such as International Day of Happiness. A post can be about someone I admire like Hildegard Von Bingham or just about a subject that makes me happy – like my cats!
I enjoy the combination of writing and illustrating a subject. I think it adds a richness to a blog entry and makes a good experience for the reader.
