I would like you to join me on a virtual art walk, visiting some of my artist colleagues’ blogs and viewing their amazing art. Let me introduce them to you.

Join Me On A Virtual Art Walk

Backyard Image

Starting with Steve Heap at Backyard Image who has written a blog post showcasing some of his recent sales to art collectors. Steve features four gorgeous images but I think my personal favourite is this highly energetic shot of a puffin running across the water trying to take off! You can read Steve’s blog post here.

A puffin is frantically running across the surface of calm blue water, making splashes behind him, wings spread as he is taking off.

KM Gunn Art

Katrina Gunn at KM Gunn Art has written a blog detailing her award-winning artwork that features in a 2022 Creative Arts Festival. All three of her entries took either first or second place which is a great achievement. You can read Katrina’s blog post here.

Jim Hughes Photography

Jim Hughes of Jim Hughes Photography has written a blog all about ‘crazy ice’ on a creek in Minneapolis. I love Jim’s description of how ice freezes, thaws and refreezes, depicting it like a constant battle. You can read Jim’s blog post here.

A black and white photo of a creek with sones along gthe edge and banks with trees. The surface of the water is covered with broken ice.

Siena Blue

Siena Blue has written a colourful blog showcasing some old and new work that is well worth a look. I think my favourite one uses the most glorious shades of burnt sienna, blue and sepia.  You can read the blog post here.

A painting with a view across a plain towards mountains against a blue sky, painted in various shades of brown and burnt sienna with blue highlights.

My Own Contribution

My own contribution to this virtual art walk is my blog about how I stepped outside my comfort zone with my latest abstract art pieces. You can read all about that here.

Thank you for joining me on this virtual art walk – I urge you to take a look at all the wonderful art on display (and for sale) in these great blog posts.
