The category ‘aspects of art’ includes posts relating to my artwork. It might be that I have written a post about my particular approach to creating an image or collection. Or maybe the approach I take generally in tackling a new subject.
Posts talk about how I have developed my photo art images, my thinking behind the final image and how I often know in my head how the final image will look when I take a photograph. In other words, after I have developed the story in the image further with digital textures and colours.
It includes posts on how colour affects the viewer and how it is used in art, stories about art, stories about how I came across new subjects for my art etc. The category includes posts on how sometimes something is developed into a piece of art when it didn’t start that way, such as when I was taken by the colours left on the colour catcher from the washing machine after a wash load.
As new products become available in my stores, such as jigsaw puzzles and face masks, I write a blog looking at the product and which images I have made available on it.
Posts also include where I have illustrated a blog, short story or a book with my images as I did with my book ‘I am Stevie Mouse’.
It also includes links to new sales outlets for my work including my Pictorem, RedBubble, ArtHeroes and Signed Cards stores.
